HindiUSA, a non-profit Hindi language program, will offer Hindi language classes for kids age 5 to 16, Tuesdays from 7 to 8 p.m. at Beck Middle School. The classes will start Tuesday, Sept. 8 and run until mid-June.
Students of all skill levels will learn reading, writing and speaking from experienced teachers using Hindi books, software and curriculum. The students will also have the chance to participate in the Hindi Mahotsav, the largest annual Hindi program in North America.
The total fee for the entire class is $200, which includes books, which are given out at the time of registration, materials and a certificate for passing a Hindi examination. Registration ends Sept. 1, but late registrations will be accepted.
